The Coveted Collection Concealer

The Collection concealer a highly raved about product in the beauty community and I can kind of see why!

Now it did take me a long time to actually purchase this product and the only reason for that was due to the fact that I hardly wear foundation or concealer as A) I don’t feel the need to wear it and B) I have quite a few blemishes on my face and I don’t really want to aggravate them by covering them with makeup. Although with that aside let’s get on with my views on this product.

First of all quite standard packaging if I’m honest nothing special but considering this concealer only costs £4.19 it’s really inexpensive plus I think I got mine on sale or something because it only cost me £2! In terms of covering up blemishes this didn’t really work for me personally it actually felt quite cakey and heavy on my skin and didn’t do the best job at covering the redness (sad times!), however that could be due to the fact that my skin was quite bad back when I purchased this but still I don’t think this concealer will be being used for covering up my blemishes any time soon. Saying that though this concealer is great for covering my under eye circles, not that they are ridiculously bad it just does a good job of covering them…so great! Also I have been using this a lot lately for kind of priming my eyelids before applying my Maybelline colour tattoo and MAC’s patina on top of it, don’t really know if it’s a good idea but it works for me and I feel my shadow stays on a lot longer, so result! The shade range however is quite limited and I believe they have changed the names of the colours? I think I was right for going with number 2 as I feel the lightest shade Collection offer would be far to light on my skin.
