So I thought I would do a little post about some of my
favourite necklaces in my collection. Now I tend to opt for buying necklaces
over any other type of jewellery and this I feel is because a necklace can really
change an outfit and complete it and a lot of these necklaces I have worn
countless times. Each one has a little story attached to it, and I will list
where I got them from but I am afraid I’m not sure you can get any of these
particular ones anymore…sorry! So let’s get onto the necklaces…
1.
Accessorize Heart Necklace
This little necklace is one of the more recent editions to
the collection and was given to me by my friend Rachael for Christmas, thanks
Rach! It’s silver, cute and dainty and it’s nice that it has a longer chain as
well. This is a necklace I reach for when I’m not sure what one I want as it
usually goes with everything!

Republic Robot Necklace
Now I bought this around the time before Republic shut down,
when I saw this I couldn’t resist it, it was so cute and it’s a little robot
with glasses, a nerdy robot! I actually got this for a pound and I was shocked
when I got up to the till to pay for it none the less it was a great find!

Topshop Camera Necklace
This I found a few years ago in the summer in the Topshop jewellery
sale and I fell in love with it, it’s orange not something I would usually go
for and it is quite a chunky necklace. I knew I had to have it though when I
saw this and plus I think I got it for like £3! I don’t wear it that often
and I really should!

Topshop Owl Necklace
Another Topshop necklace and this time it’s an owl, I was
obsessed with owls a few years back and I really don’t know why, I think they
were the cool ‘it’ animal at the time or something like that anyway?! So I remember
I had spotted this in a magazine and once I saw it, I wanted it, I remember
looking frantically for it at the jewellery section, and then I saw it tucked
away hidden at the back it was also the last one there, it was meant to be! I
have worn this necklace an awful lot and it will continue to be worn a lot as
it’s so cute!

Hilary Duff Collection Heart Necklace
I’m sure we all remember Hilary Duff, you know Lizzie
McGuire, throwback! Well this was bought years ago and I mean years ago, I
remember Hilary Duff brought out a collection with Claire’s Accessories and it
was a range of jewellery and my friend happened to own some of it, we were both
massive Hilary Duff fans haha! Once I saw she had some of this jewellery, I was
like Dad I need some of it, and my Dad surprised me with this necklace along
with another one and some heart earrings from the collection, I was super
excited. I have loved this necklace and it has had its fair share of being worn,
it’s really simple and is a necklace I reach for a lot.
6.
Republic Lollipop Necklace
It’s another Republic necklace and this I think I bought in
the summer of 2012 me and my sister were looking through the jewellery section
and I remember spotting this, 1. It has a pink lollipop on it cute, 2.perfect
summer necklace and 3. It was only like £4. Also by now you must sense a theme with my necklaces I think
they are all cute and how could I not buy this one?!

Claire’s Accessories Star Necklace
My sister actually bought me this necklace and I remember
she told me to go away whilst she found me a Christmas present and this is what
I got. Its silver has tones of stars clustered along it and it has a smaller
chain attached with another star, I love stars and I love necklaces, this is so
great for pairing with a plain coloured top as it adds a lot of detail to it.

Accessorize Heart Necklace
I bought this necklace before Christmas in 2012, I had
intended to give it to a friend for Christmas although I bought her something
else from accessorize so I decided to keep it for myself, haha. I remember it was £5 or something like that because
the shop had some sort of sale on and I thought this would be a really nice
necklace to pair with loads of outfits. I wear this one quite a lot to school
and it’s an easy necklace to throw on if I’m in a rush.

Republic Moustache Necklace
Yes, it’s a moustache necklace…how freaking cute is it?!
This I bought at Christmas time before the store shut down and at the time me
and my sister loved anything with moustaches on it, didn’t everyone at some
point? Anyway she had picked up a moustache necklace that was plain gold then I
spotted this one that was sparkly! I had to have it and I have worn this,
ridiculous amounts of times and I will continue to wear it because look at it,
it’s cute!
4.
Republic Triangle Necklace
The last and final one and again it’s from Republic, I guess
I must have liked a lot of their jewellery, necklaces in particular!
Anyway I bought this one along with my moustache one at the time as statement
necklaces had only really just become on trend and I wasn’t brave enough for
those at the time so I went with this one. I’m glad I picked this one up as I
love it, I’ve worn it loads and it’s kind of a classic piece and can be worn
with pretty much anything really!
So that’s it all the necklaces, well not all of them just my
favourite ones that I wear all the time. I’m sorry again that you can’t get
