Benefit Most Glamorous Nudes Ever Kit

So back in the Easter holidays I picked up this little eye kit from Benefit. I’d had my eyes on this for a while and out of the three kits this is the one that was best suited for me. In the classic cute packaging that we expect from Benefit inside are two of their creaseless cream shadows and four powder shadows (the same size as the mac refill pans). It also comes with two little cards with tips and tricks of how to use these shadows from Day to Night, which is great for those who are new to the whole eyeshadow thing!

Now down to the actual products, the two creaseless cream shadows in this kit are called my two cents and birthday suit. My two cents is a copper colour with a shimmery gold running through it, it’s a really pretty colour just to swipe all over the lid. Birthday suit is a light taupe chrome colour, which is another one that’s great to put all over the lid with a dark shadow blended through the crease. Both of these cream shadows have shimmer running through them, so if that’s not your thing you may not like these that much. I really like these cream shadows they last the whole day on me and true to the name they don’t crease, great! They have a great creamy formula and they are so easy to apply on the lids, I just use my fingers to swipe the colour on. They look quite small however you get 3.2g of product which is quite a lot and it gives you the chance to try them out.

With this kit is also four powder eyeshadows, you have call my bluff which is a pale cream shell colour perfect for applying all over the lid or to use as a highlight for the brow-bone. Next is kiss me, i’m tipsy a dark brown this is great to throw in the crease. It’s complicated is a golden peachy pink colour, now if I’m honest I didn't think I’d like this colour but it’s beautiful paired with kiss me, i’m tipsy in the crease. The last shadow, gilt-y pleasure is a golden shade and this too is gorgeous just on its own. All of these shadows are pigmented and apply well and blend easily. Plus they have really cute names!

Now all of these shadows including the cream ones are part of the permanent line at Benefit to purchase separately. This kit retails at £23.50 and you can get this on most Benefit counters, it’s great to test out their eyeshadow products and see if it’s worth buying them later on. Overall I love this kit and I’m glad I purchased it. Have you tried the Benefit shadows? What do you think of them, let me know. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! x
